Improve bearing capacity of ground for new Business Park surrounding Airport |
In South Africa; the developing company CSV needed to increase the bearing capacity of a 15 hectare site surrounding Cape Town International Airport.
The land was previous used as a dumping ground and had between 2-6m of sand, miscellaneous refuse and builders rubble to treat.
Director Neil Theron created a sub-division of CSV and brought in Braam Compion to direct operations of the new company RIC Africa.
A RIC 9000 unit was bought and mounted on a CAT 345B in order to complete the task.
