This state-of-the-art mobile piling rig, mounted on a robust JCB 220X LC tracked excavator base, promises to revolutionise Akela's operations with unmatched efficiency and versatility. The JX Piling Rig excels in driving steel, wood, or concrete piles up to 8m (26'3") in length, making it ideal for tight urban sites and residential developments.
Its compact 28.6t (63,000 lbs) design delivers exceptional manoeuvrability, low ground pressure of just 82kN/m² (18.4 kips/m²), and effortless transport via standard low-loader trucks. Self-erecting in minutes, the rig features a 12.5m (41') single piling mast, paired with any of BSP-TEX's high-performance DX-range hydraulic hammers.
Delivering up to 30kNm of energy at 60bpm with a 2,500kg drop-weight, it handles piles with ultimate capacities up to 2,500kN – often at 50% power for economical operation. A standout upgrade is the recently enhanced cab control and monitoring equipment, enabling precise energy matching and real-time oversight from the operator's seat or via optional radio control.
A pile-lifting winch facilitates pile handling, and the mast foot, pile guide and in-cab controls ensure accurate and efficient pile driving. Fuel-efficient at 10 litres (2.65 USGal) per hour and requiring only 150 l/min (39.6 USGal/min) oil flow at 150-170 bar, it minimises downtime and environmental impact.
